KING'S KITCHEN
'A SIMPLE MEAL WITH FRIENDLY PEOPLE'
To help alleviate food insecurity and loneliness, Emmanuel Church hosts a weekly hot meal during the colder months of the year.
Generally, the King's Kitchen season starts mid-November and wraps up with an Easter meal. Doors open at 5:00 pm each Tuesday, with the exception of a 2-week break after Christmas. The meal is served at 5:30 pm with some kind of presentation between the main meal and dessert.
Two long rows of tables are set up to accommodate everyone. This is done so that everyone will have the opportunity to visit with the people beside them. All ages are welcome and encouraged to interact. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are gratefully accepted.
We invite you to invite a friend!
In addition to the meal we do our best to make the Alpha Course available in January for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. You can find more information about this course HERE.
