Worship Service Sundays: 10:30 am

Our Ministries

This is the third of our 'rhythm statements', and we're passionate about seeing everyone serve in God's Power and in their area of gifting.  There are lots of opportunities to serve within the church community, but we recognize there are other needs as well.

The best way to get involved in Emmanuel's Ministry is by talking to our staff.  They will gladly connect you with people that are overseeing ministries that might be of interest to you.  To that end, please reach out to us!

To 'wet your appetite, here are some of the options...

Has God blessed you with some musical talent?  Has God given you a 'creative streak'?  technical abilities?  Talk to us to become part of one of our bands or worship arts group!

Each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:00 a group gathers to learn to pray effectively in a wide variety of ways.  Each session includes some teaching, and lots of practice!

Starting in mid November, we will be hosting a free, weekly meal for those experiencing isolation, food insecurity, or rough housing. Each Tuesday we will be cooking, serving and visiting!  Intersted in helping out?  Let us know!

Though we don't mind the noise of children in our services, we offer a nursery space!, Please note that the nursery is currently not staffed, but that the service is live-streamed into the room.

We are excited to offer a Sunday children's small group.  During this time we journey through Church Renewal's 'Abide' curriculum, learning to abide in Christ and discuss life's ups and downs.

Our focus is on discipleship, forming and building relationships, where we learn and grow together to become more like Christ. There are two opportunities each week for youth to join in a small group.

1) 'Sunday Youth' Small Group (most weeks)

2) Wednesday Evening Youth Group

Recognizing that we are all at different places on our journey with Jesus, we host a variety of different groups.  Some of our groups pick their own topics, others work though The Way Discipleship modules.

This ministry provides fellowship through monthly events (April-December), and ministers in a local nursing home.  When possible, volunteers help with practical needs as well.

We've hosted all kinds of retreats over the years, but our favorite may well be the Set Free Retreat! Keep an eye on our website for more information, and be sure to get involved!
