Worship Service Sundays at 10:30 am

I'm New Here

What about the children? There is a unstaffed nursery available for children 0-2 years of age. The room is equipped with a TV that displays a live-feed from the Sanctuary.  If you would rather take your children into the worship service, that is fine as well (seriously, we don't mind a little noise).  Older children and youth have the opportunity to attend Sunday Small Groups, that begin partway through the service.  They usually are dismissed after a brief children's feature.

Currently, there are 2 classes:

Children (ages 3-10)

Youth (11-18) (most weeks)

Once a child becomes a 'regular' attender of the children's or youth's small group we ask the parents to register their child.  Further, children in the younger class need to be signed out after the worship service.

All our volunteers are screened and provided with training to best serve your children.

Music is a big part of our worship service.  You can expect a blend of older and newer music, with the focus being on congregational singing.  We are led by one of several different groups of volunteers, each with a slightly different style.

We no longer take up an offering during the service, but offering plates are available at our Welcome Desk and on the Community Table.  Thre are other ways of giving as well.   However, as a visitor, there is no obligation or expectation that you contribute.

Our pastor preaches between 40-45 Sundays per year.  From time to time, we bring in a guest speaker, while at other times people in the congregation will bring the message.  We do our best to address relevant topics through messages that are thoroughly rooted in the Scriptures.  You can listen to recent messages HERE.

Following our worship time, we invite everyone to gather in the fellowship hall to grab a coffee or tea, a sandwich, and a snack! In this busy world, we value spending time with one another.  If you are in need of prayer, you are invited to stay in the Sanctuary - our Elders would love to pray with you!

We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in person!

The Church Building & Sunday Morning

As you walk into the building you can expect to be greeted by our welcome team. They will answer any questions and will gladly offer you a tour of the building. This may especially be of interest to families with children. So, be sure to ask!

We are so excited about your interest in the ministry of the Emmanuel Church family.

Below you will find some information about Emmanuel Church as well as some pictures of our facilities. Feel free to send us any questions or concerns you may have.  We would love to hear from you! In fact, we would love to get to know you better and be part of your journey with Jesus.

To that end, would you help us by filling out this Welcome Card?

Many thanks & we'll be in touch soon!
