Worship Service Sundays at 10:30 am
Emmanuel’s motto calls us to ‘Know, Grow & Show Christ’. For this to become a reality, we will have to be intentional about the way we live our lives. One very important aspect of intentional living is in relation to our devotional life; our quiet time with God.
It's easy for this quiet time with God to fall victim to the irregular rhythms of the summer months. I've written a blog post, called 'Changing Rhythms' about my own struggles in this area. And, to help you overcome these challenges, I've put together a simple Bible Reading Plan with some though-provoking questions.
Hard-copies of the plan can be picked up from the Welcome Desk at Emmanuel Church. Or, you can download a PDF file of the plan from this website.
Finally, a small group specifically for participants in this devotional challenge meets on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm at the church library. At this meeting participants will have opportunity to share insights, ask questions and pray with each other.
That's it! I pray this devotional pattern will help you thrive in your relationship with our Father this summer!
